Napster, much in the news lately, is a file sharing program which basically lets millions of people swap music across the Internet. You type in the name of whatever song you want and it gives you a list of all the people that have it then you can download it in Mp3 format (a CD quality music file on your computer.) There are about 50million users around the world which means with everyone sharing the files you can get any song you want a lot of them before they come out in the shops. Why has it been in the news lately? Well because the authorities and big record companies are trying (and mostly succeeding) to get it to shut down. Because of copyright laws and so on. But what we want to know is what's your stand point on this. Do you feel it should be shut down as what there letting the users do is wrong and could ruin the record industry. Or are you a user and don't want it shut because technically there doing noting wrong and we should be entitled to our free music. There are many arguments on both side, but have your say here and tell us what you think.
